FTTH optical closures and termination boxes
In the construction of FTTH networks, it is necessary to connect and distribute the backbone cables in underground or aerial splice closures, to connect the subscribers in optical distribution boxes with optical splitters, and housing subscriber wall boxes.
Our company offers its customers the Shanghai Grandway Telecom Tech. company high quality and cost effective boxes. The Shanghai Grandway Telecom Tech. was founded in 1994. They has developed a joint venture company with Fujikura in 2008 (Shanghai Fujikura Grandway Co., Ltd.) to produce passive devices, closures and termination boxes for FTTH application. There are many different boxes in their offer. Here are some more popular products. If you are looking for different boxes, ask our colleagues for more information.
F2H Horizontal Fiber Optic Splice Closures
In contrast to the "cap" type splice closures, the horizontal versions have cable entries on both sides. This design is preferred for certain applications (e.g., trunk cable connections). There are several different product versions to choose from. They can be used for aerial, underground, pipeline and directly buried networks.
Product Features:
-
Easy to assemble
-
High quality ABS body material
-
Suitable for 5-16 mm cables
-
Suitable for both aerial and underground applications
-
Both single side and double sides splicing tray are allowed
-
Maximal 96 fibers optical capacity
-
-40 to + 65 C operational temperature range
F2H Vertical (cap) type Fiber Optic Splice Closures
For vertical (cap) fiber optic closures all cable entry is located on the bottom. This design is more advantageous for distribution network applications. There are several different product versions to choose from. They can be used for aerial, underground and directly buried networks.
Product Features:
-
Easy to assemble
-
Wide product portfolio
-
High quality ABS body material

-
Up to 240 fibers and 7 optical cables capacity
-
-40 to + 65 C operating temperature range
F2H-FOSC-BDM-Z5S12-48VG 576 fibers capacity optical splice closure
The Grandway High Capacity (up to 576 fibers can be spliced) vertical fiber splice closure all cable ports are located on the bottom (1 oval extension port for uncut application and a further 4 ports for distribution cables). Ideal for connecting telecommunication network backbone cables. Can be used for aerial, underground and directly buried networks.
Product Features:
-
Easy to assemble
-
High quality ABS body material

F2H-FTB aerial fiber termination boxes
The F2H-FTB is designed for use with aerial installations (we can also offer a pole mount assembly approved by domestic power companies) for 12 or 16 subscriber outputs. In the box, it is also possible to place the PLC optical splitters with optical connectors and to terminate the outputs on optical connectors.
Product Features:
-
Two different product versions with 12 or 16 subscriber cable ports
-
IP65 waterproof construction
-
High quality PC+ ABS body material
-
One trunk cable port for uncut applications
-
Black or white colored versions
-
Optional 1x4, 1x8 or 1x16 PLC optical splitters with or without optical connectors and adaptors
F2H-FTB-8-G indoor optical termination box
The F2H-FTB-8-G indoor wall-mounted optical distribution box has two backbone cable ports (one on the bottom and one on top) and 8 subscriber ports. The box has a plastic cover that can be removed with two screws. By removing the external cover, the installation colleague will only have access to the splitter outputs terminated on the optical adaptors. The two optical splicing trays and the integrated 1x8 optical splitter can be accessed by removing a inner plastic cover. In the box, it is also possible to place the PLC optical splitters with optical connectors and to terminate the outputs on optical adaptors. However, it is also possible to directly splice the subscriber cables (in this case, a subscriber cable fixing assembly is placed instead of the adaptors).
Product Features:
-
8 subscriber ports (2x3mm or 3mm optical subscriber cable support)
-
Two backbone cable ports
-
Integrated optical splicing trays and optical cable management (provides optimum cable bending radius)
-
Integrated 1x8 micro packaging PLC optical splitter (versions available with or without optical connectors)
-
The splicing trays can be fixed at 120 degrees
-
It is possible to rotate the optical adaptors at an angle
Subscriber wall outlets
There is a wide range of boxes available to terminate the subscriber cables in-house. You can choose from boxes of different colors, port numbers and physical designs to suit your needs.
