PROMAX CATV analyzers
PROMAX has recently launched the CABLE RANGER product line specifically designed for cable TV operators. Currently, the CABLE RANGER analyzer is equipped with a DOCSIS 3.0 modem model and a RANGER Mini Analyzer without cable modem. The product line will soon be expanded with additional instruments. By the end of 2018, a CABLE RANGER product version with a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem is expected, as well as a small and cost-effective RANGER micro signal meter for installation colleagues. All analyzers are also suitable for DVB-T signals. Moreover, smaller RANGER mini and micro models support satellite signaling.
The CABLE RANGER analyzer is standard, and the RANGER mini instrument has optional optical power meter and optical-RF converter. Thus, it is also possible to directly examine the cable television signals on the optical fiber.
