AIMA 3000 modular optical headend solution

Due to drastically increasing subscriber bandwidths and the launch of DOCSIS 3.1 based services, cable TV providers are forced to continuously segment HFC networks and improve network quality and reliability.

In the ever-growing competition, it is very important for service providers to have simple, cost-effective operation and low power consumption. Taking these needs into account, PBN has developed a completely new HFC platform with the highest port density available on the market. The AIMA3000 platform features HFC, RFoG and FTTH 1550nm video transfer modules. They have excellent references around the world and Europe. The AIMA 3000 system has also been recently deployed by UPC in its networks.
